Obituary of Rose Caristi

Please Note the Change in the Day of the Viewing and Funeral Service. Rose Caristi, 85, of Tobyhanna Pa died Thursday, December 22, at her home. She was the wife of the late Anthony Caristi. Born in Brooklyn, NY she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Jenny (Fontana) Martines. She is survived by two daughters; Angela Viola of Tobyhanna, Pa and JoAnn Wohltjen of Old Bridge, NJ, brother; Arthur Martines of Rahway, NJ, sister; Jean Ricotta of Las Vegas, NV; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. There will be a visitation on Wednesday, December 29 at the Bolock Funeral Home, Corner of Routes 940 & 390, Cresco, Pa from 9-9:30 a.m. The Reverend Father Joseph Kopacz will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial on at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary of the Mount Church, 27 Fairview Avenue in Mt. Pocono. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Staten Island, NY. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the VNA Hospice House, 501 Independence Road, East Stroudsburg, Pa 18301.
