Obituary of Frederick Sciolaro

Frederick A. Sciolaro, Sr. 80, of Canadensis, died Thursday, January 30, 2014 at his home. He was the loving husband of Mary Ann (Salomone) Sciolaro. Born in Passaic, NJ, he was the son of the late Frank and Bessie (Nucifora) Sciolaro. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and served in the Korean War. Frederick was of the Catholic faith and a member of St. Bernadette in Canadensis. In addition to his wife, Mary Ann he is survived by his sons: Mark Sciolaro of Saddle Brook, NJ and Michael Sciolaro of Canadensis, daughters: Deanna Sciolaro of Carlstadt, NJ and Barbara Sciolaro of Saddle Brook, NJ, his sisters: Rose Sciaino of Orlando, Fla. and Marie Rex of Port Deposit, MD, three grandchildren: Stephanie and Connor Sciolaro and Jack Wilczynski. He was preceded in death by his son Frederick Sciolaro, Jr. of Tobyhanna and his brother Frank Sciolaro of Clifton, NJ. Services will be held at a later date. Cremation has been entrusted to Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
