Obituary of Robert Valore

Robert C. Valore, 57, of Swiftwater, died on Thursday, Jan. 30, 2014, at his home. He was the loving husband of Mary Ann (Hukom) Valore. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., he was the son of Grace (Spadaro) Valore and the late Carlo Valore. Robert worked as a locksmith for many years. He was of the Catholic faith and a member of the St. Mary Church. In addition to his wife, Mary Ann, he is survived by his mother, Grace Valore of Lancaster; his brother, Richard Valore of Lancaster; brothers-in-law, Jaime Hukom and Felicito Hukom and his wife, Analyn; sister-in-law, Maria Guia Skeels and her husband, John; nephews, Christopher Valore, Ian Hukom; and his niece, Sophia Hukom. There will be a viewing from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4, at the Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. The Rev. Joseph Hornazy will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary Church, 27 Fairview Ave., Mount Pocono. Burial will follow at Laurelwood Cemetery, 901 Bryant St., Stroudsburg.
