Obituary of Eleanora Verrico

Eleanora S.Verrico, 91, of Pocono Summit, died Sunday, March 27 at home. She was the wife of the late Chester Verrico who passed away on February 7, 2011. Born in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of the late John and Solidea (Palma) Parrella. Eleanora was a member of St. Mary of the Mount Church in Mt. Pocono and the former St. Joan of Arc Church in Pocono Summit. She is survived by a son, Vincent Verrico of Pocono Summit; a daughter, Elaine Burlesco of West Nyack, NY; three grandchildren, Andrea Burlesco-Klos of New Hempstead, NY, Vincent P. Verrico of Dacula, GA, Thomas E. Verrico of Fredericksburg, TX; one great grandson, Matthew Verrico of Dacula, GA; and several nieces and nephews. There will be a viewing on Friday, April 1 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Bolock Funeral Home, Rt. 940 in Cresco. The Reverend Father Joseph Kopacz will conduct a Blessing Service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday April 2 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Prospect Cemetery in East Stroudsburg.
