Obituary of James Baldasare

James V. Baldasare, 41, of Mount Pocono, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014, at Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg. James was employed at United Envelope in Mount Pocono. He loved the outdoors; in his spare time, he enjoyed hiking at Tobyhanna State Park. James was a graduate of Pleasant Valley High School and a member of the Church of St. Ann in Tobyhanna. He is survived by his mother, Kathleen (Toone) Baldasare of Mount Pocono; his brother, Mark Baldasare of Pocono Pines; his niece, Juliana Kathleen Baldasare; and his girlfriend, Laura Gonzales. There will be a visitation from 2 to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11, at Bolock Funeral Home & Crematory, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. A blessing service will begin at 3 p.m. at the funeral home. The family has requested no flowers. Cremation has been entrusted to Bolock Funeral Home & Crematory.
