Obituary of Christina Schirrmeister

Christina Schirrmeister, 51, of Canadensis, died on February 12, 2014 at the VNA Hospice House in East Stroudsburg. Born in Hamburg, Germany, she was the daughter of Erich Schirrmeister and Karin (Schumacher) Jermendy. In addition to her parents, she is survived by two sons: Steven W. Miller of Canadensis, Christopher B. Miller of Canadensis; a brother: Thomas Gropp and his wife Milagros of Bronx, NY; a grandson: Matthew B. Ondoff; her two closest friends: Vera Fernhout of Canadensis and Lori Ziemek of Cresco and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her step-father: Bela Jermendy and two brothers: Steven and Bela Jermendy. Private family services will be held at a later date.
