Obituary of Richard Meskill

Richard M. Meskill, 63, of Tobyhanna, died on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at his home. He was the loving husband of Denise (Deckenback) Meskill with whom he shared 22 years of marriage. Born in Trenton, NJ he was the son of Ellen (Murphy) Meskill and the late James A. Meskill. Rich was completely devoted to his family and especially his "favorite". He was a consummate salesman. He loved everything outdoors and especially loved "his mountain". In addition to his wife, Denise and his mother, Ellen, he is survived by his mother-in-law: Linda Deckenback of Metuchen, NJ nephews: Kieran Todd and his wife Harmony and Neal Preston of Lawrenceville, NJ; nieces: Jamie Eischeid and her husband Ryan of Trenton, NJ, Jessica Hernandez and her husband Matthew of Brooklyn, NY, Abigail Tolbert and her husband Troy of Boca Raton, Fla., and Caitlin Todd of Trenton, NJ; great nephews: Ryan Jr. and Blake Eischeid of Trenton, NJ; brother-in-law: William Preston of Lawrenceville, NJ and his faithful companions Shadow and Storm. He was preceded in death by his sisters Donna Todd and Patricia Preston.
