Obituary of Gregory Williams
Gregory J. Williams, 50, of Pocono Lake, died on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at his home.
Born in Brooklyn, NY he was the son of Robert and Geraldine (Thompson) Williams.
Gregory was a talented musician and an Atlantic Record recording artist. He was the lead singer for Seductive Luck. Gregory was a 9/11 1st responder and preformed at the 10th anniversary memorial, playing "Gone But Not Forgotten". Seductive Luck's first album will be re-released in spring with net proceeds being donated to Habitat for Humanity.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by wife Deborah (Matera) Williams, his son: Ian Williams; daughters: Brianna Williams Coates (and her husband Lani Coates), Sydney, Erin and Madeline Williams; his brother: Paul Williams and sister: Regina Williams. He will be forever loved by his nieces, nephews, grandson Jonah and first wife, and loving friend Maureen McKeon.
There will be a viewing from 9:30 to 11:30 on Tuesday, March 11 at Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. The Reverend Father Daniel Yenkevich will conduct a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, March 11 at noon at St. Maximilian Kolbe in Pocono Pines. Followed by a family & friends memorial at The Chalet of Locust Lake Village. Cremation will follow.
