Obituary of Albert Blizzard
Albert "Jack" J. Blizzard, 90, of Pocono Lake, entered into heaven to be with all of those who have gone before him on Sunday, March 16, 2014 at the Gino Merli Veterans Center in Scranton. He was the loving husband of the late Laura (Armstrong) Blizzard and the son of the late Archibald and Lillian (Gizborn) Blizzard.
Born and raised in Germantown, he moved to Ambler after marrying his wife, Laura. In 1967, he and Laura moved to New Jersey and resided there until 2008 when he moved to the Pocono's with his daughter.
Jack was a member of the Haddonfield Masonic Lodge and Haddonfield Order of Eastern Star. He was a charter member of Friendship Community Church in N.J. Jack loved to spend time with his family and also his Pocono Mountain Family. He was seen every day walking in Locust Lake Village enjoying the wildlife, people playing tennis and those swimming in the lake.
He is survived by two daughters: Joanne Kingkiner and her husband David and Sandi Betsch; a daughter in law: Donna Blizzard; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. In addition to his wife, Laura, he was preceded in death by a son: Albert J. Blizzard, Jr. and a son in law: Charles Betsch.

Cremation has been entrusted to Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
