Obituary of Joshua Langkammer

Joshua David McCormick Langkammer, 28, of Tobyhanna, passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at his home, after a long battle with cancer. Born on June 29, 1985, in Kingston, PA, he was the son of Rosemary (Buckley) Hayes of Tobyhanna and David Langkammer II, of Bushkill. Joshua was a 2003 graduate of Pocono Mountain West High School. He worked for the Advocacy Alliance in Scranton and babysat his nieces and nephew, who he loved dearly. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother: Terry, of Stroudsburg; his sisters: Wendy, of Mount Pocono, Julie and Sara of Tobyhanna; nieces: Brianna Smith and Mikaela Dawson; a nephew: Chase Dawson and his beloved dog Fred who is lost without him. He was preceded in death by his brother David. There will be a memorial service at 5:30 pm on Thursday, April 3, at Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. A visitation will begin at 4:00 pm until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Josh's name may be made to: National Neurofibromatosis Foundation 16th floor, 95 Pine Street, New York, NY 10005. Cremation has been entrusted to Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
