Obituary of Joseph Miller

Joseph Miller, 75, of Scotrun, died on Monday, April 7, 2014 at Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg. He was the loving husband of Carole (Kossmann) Miller of whom he shared 55 years of marriage. Born in Scranton, he was the son of the late Edward and Mildred (Ritter) Miller. Joseph was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He was the owner and operator of the Miller Gun Shop located in Stroudsburg. Joseph was the founder and president of the Monroe County Pistol Club and was an international champion target shooter. He was preceded in death by his son Joseph John Miller. There will be a viewing on Wednesday, April 9 from 2 to 4 pm at Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. A funeral service will begin at 4 at the funeral home. Cremation is entrusted to Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
