Obituary of Susan Furello

Susan F. Furello, 69, of Mount Pocono, died on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at her home. Born in Plains, she was the loving daughter of the late Francis and Pearl Mary (Jones) Lewis. Susan was a graduate from Plains Memorial High School. She spent her working career in the restaurant business. Susan started out waitressing at Mount Airy and later became owner of the Amber Steak House in Swiftwater. She is survived by her three children: Rocco Furello of Newellton, LA., Danielle Furello of Mount Pocono and Josette Gesualdi of Tannersville; her brothers: Francis G. Lewis of Newton and Dan T. Lewis of Lancaster; sister: Mary Beth Rabert of Clinton, Miss.,; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Susan was preceded in death by her brother Raymond Lewis. There will be a visitation from 12 to 1 p.m. on Sunday, April 27, at Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. A memorial service will begin at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Animal Wellness Society of Monroe (AWSOM) PO Box 13, Stroudsburg, PA 18360. Cremation has been entrusted to Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
