Obituary of Leann Peters

Leann D. Peters, 55, of Long Pond, died on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at her home. She was the loving wife of the late Sherwood Peters. Born in Easton, she was the daughter of Arthur and Charmaine (Williams) Horn of Pen Argyl. Leanne worked for the Pocono Mountain School District for over 20 years as a teacher's aide and a bus driver. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her son: Robert Peters of East Stroudsburg; daughter: Susan Nocchi and her husband Daniel of Freeland; brother: Loren Horn of Pen Argyl and her five grandsons. Leann was preceded in death by her husband Sherwood Peters. There will be a visitation from 4 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 7 at Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Animal Welfare Society of Monroe, PO Box 13, Stroudsburg, PA 18360. Cremation has been entrusted to Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
