Obituary of Sharon Jennings

Sharon R. Jennings, 63, of Bartonsville, died on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at the VNA Hospice House in East Stroudsburg. She was the loving wife of the late Robert Jennings who died in 2011. Born in Nanticoke, she was the daughter of Catherine (Kivler) Rilk and the late Carl Rilk. Sharon grew up in Dover, N.J., and settled in Marshalls Creek in 1984. She was a caring and loving mother who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed going to Atlantic City to relax in her spare time. In addition to her mother, Catherine, she is survived by her son: Harlan Fitzherbert of Albrightsville; two brothers: John Rilk of South Dakota, Albert Rilk of New York; a step-granddaughter: Teresa Lupes; a niece: Rebecca Rilk; and nephew: Albert Rilk. She was preceded in death by her father: Carl Rilk and two brothers: Harlan Rilk of Dover, N.J. and Carl Rilk also of Dover, N.J. Private cremation is entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
