Obituary of Robert Eddy

Robert B. Eddy, 81, of Pocono Lake, died on Sunday, June 8, 2014 at Pleasant Valley Manor. He was the loving husband of the late Sandra E.(Bell) Eddy. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Alfred and Fannie (Fisher) Eddy. Robert was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a printer by trade, and at one point was the owner of Litho-Neg in Lester. He was an avid fly fisherman, and a member of Trout Unlimited, the Stretch and the Arrowhead Lake Community Association Anglers Committee. He is survived by his daughters: Pamela M. Eddy of Pocono Lake, and Roberta A. McMaster and her husband, Daniel, of Scotrun; his stepson, William T. Wilson and his wife, Charlotte, of Amesbury, Massachusetts; his sister, Wanda Fairman of Prospect Park; his sister-in-law, Lola Eddy of Prospect Park; and three grandchildren: Rebecca and Derek McMaster, and Shayne Eddy. Robert was preceded in death by two brothers, Alfred and William Eddy; and a granddaughter, Shayla E. Eddy. There will be a visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church Thursday, June 12, at Our Lady of Victory Church, 327 Cherry Lane Road, Tannersville. The Rev. Richard Czachor will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of Victory Church, P.O.
