Obituary of Catherine Stevenson

Catherine Virginia Stevenson, 87, of Tobyhanna, PA and Melbourne, FL, died Sunday, April 17, 2011 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Thomas J. Stevenson Jr. who died in 2010. Born in Staten Island, New York, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Marion (Callahan) Campbell. She was a member of St. Ann's Church in Tobyhanna and St. John the Evangelist in Viera, Florida. She is survived by nine children: Thomas J. Stevenson III, Sue Ellen Boyle (Michael), Shawn L. Stevenson, Scott M. Stevenson (Mary Ann), T. Andrew Stevenson (Karen), Kim A. Stevenson (Deirdre), Jeffrey A. Stevenson, Jo Ann Fuller (Daniel), Amy M. Straubel (Richard); 24 grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was predeceased by her son, Timothy P. Stevenson. There will be a viewing on Monday, April 25, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Bolock Funeral Home in Cresco, PA. Rev. Fr. Joseph Kopacz will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 26 at St. Ann's Church on Main Street in Tobyhanna.
