Obituary of Constance Antipas

Constance A. Antipas died peacefully on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 surrounded by her loved ones, after a very long battle with cancer. She was the loving companion of Michael S. Albright for more than 30 years. Born in Flushing, NY., she was the daughter of the late Adolph and Catherine (Coonan) Zuchelli. Connie, known by her grandchildren as Chetta, was an artist. She enjoyed painting, sculpting, crocheting, and was best known for her skills on a sewing machine. Connie taught art lessons and would volunteer her time sewing costumes and creating props at a moments notice. Not afraid to get her hands dirty, she was frequently found with a hammer, screwdriver and paintbrush. There was never a job too big or beyond her talents. Connie had an amazing work ethic and was employed by Weiler Brush Corporation as an Administrative Assistant for 25 years. She will be remembered for her endless energy, determination, and courage; traits that powered her through life. In addition to her companion, Michael, she is survived by her two siblings, three children, and seven grandchildren: brothers Edward and Paul Zuchelli; daughter Adrienne Price and her husband Richard, and their children Richard III, Alexander, and Bergen of Skytop; son Andrew Antipas and his wife Victoria, and their child James of Durango, Colorado; son Christoper Antipas and his wife Maria, and their children Demitria, Alexa, and Michael of Stoneybrook, N.Y. There will be a viewing from 1 to 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 6 at Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. The Reverend George Alt will conduct a funeral service at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. The family wishes to thank all of those who supported her through her long journey. Donations may be made to the Lutheran Home Care and Hospice, St. John: 1201 N Church St #403, Hazle Township, PA 18202
