Obituary of Dolores Johnson

Dolores L. Johnson 84, of Tobyhanna, died in her home Sunday morning, August 24, 2014. She was the wife of the late Edward W. Johnson, with whom she celebrated 62 years of marriage. Born on April 4, 1930, in Philadelphia, she was the child of the late Vivian and Alan Williams. Dolores was a home maker and an artist; she taught art classes in her home. She was a member of the Decorative Arts Society and painted the portrait of "The Lady" for the Wills Mansion. She enjoyed playing Bridge, sailing, reading, cooking and spending time with her family and friends. Dolores is survived by three children: Judy Zagrocki, of New Brighton; Andy Johnson, of Tobyhanna; Angela Parry and her husband Michael, of Allentown; five Grandchildren: Rachel Pommier, Jonathan Zagrocki, Brianna Johnson, Jocelyn and Drew Parry; and seven Great-Grandchildren: Olivia, Auriane, Angeline, Elody and Benjamin Pommier, Luke and Emma Zagrocki. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 30 at the Mt. Pocono United Methodist Church.
