Obituary of Eleanor Mikels

Eleanor M. Mikels, 83, of Canadensis, died peacefully on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at home surrounded by her family. She was the loving wife of the late Russell Mikels. Born in West Palm Beach, Fl she was the daughter of the late Charles Brown and Helen Swartz Brown Follweiler. Eleanor worked seasonally for the resort industry, but her biggest role was a loving and devoted mother and wife. She is survived by a daughter: Ellen Smith of Canadensis; a son: Nathan "Chuck" Mikels and his wife Mary Ann of Canadensis; two grandchildren: Michele Mikels and James Smith; and two great-grandchildren: Aaron and Aubrey Smith. Private graveside services will be held at Seese Hill Cemetery in Canadensis.
