Obituary of Fred Suter

Fred Suter, 84, of Pocono Lake, died Sunday, September 14 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale. He was the husband of the late Lula Mae (Peia) Suter, who passed away in 2001. Born in North Haledon, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Fred and Laura (Cauchon) Suter. Fred was employed by Woven Label Co. in Haledon and Patterson, New Jersey for over 47 years before his retirement. He was a United States Army veteran. He is survived by two sons, Fred Suter and his wife, Dawn of Pocono Lake, and Robert Suter and his wife Lori of Franklin Lakes, New Jersey; two grandchildren, Dana and Matthew Suter of Pocono Lake; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, George Suter. Reverend John Cordes will conduct a memorial service at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 17 at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of routes 940 & 390 in Paradise Valley. A visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. Cremation was entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
