Obituary of Daniel Lavelle

Daniel Clark Lavelle, 43, of Mountainhome, died Sunday, December 11 as the result of a motor vehicle accident in Pike County. He was the husband of Jennifer (Zappulla) Lavelle. Born and raised in upstate New York, he was the son of John Lavelle of Vermont and the late Dorothy (Rita) Lavelle. Daniel was an executive chef at the Newfoundland Hotel. He was a member of Keokee Chapel in Paradise Valley, and a member of the Panther Lake Fishing Club. He was an avid outdoorsman. In addition to his wife, Jennifer, he is survived by a son and daughter, Daniel and Alissa, both of Mountainhome; three brothers, John Lavelle, Timothy Lavelle, and David Lavelle; a sister, Susan Lavelle; mother-in-law, Kathryn Zappulla of Mountainhome; and several nieces and nephews. The Reverend Wayne Pratt will conduct a funeral service at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 16 at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of routes 940 & 390 in Paradise Valley. Cremation will follow the service.
