Obituary of Raffaele Cuiffo

Raffaele Cuiffo, 88, a resident of Brookmont Healthcare Center and formerly of Tobyhanna, died Friday, January 21, 2005 at Palmerton Hospital. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of the late Philip and Adell (DePerino) Cuiffo. He was a member of the Teamsters Union and a United States Army veteran of World War II. He was the father of the late Philip R. Cuiffo, and is survived by a daughter, Adell D. Henry and her husband, Bruce of Tobyhanna; a brother, Philip Cuiffo of Rosedale, New York; a sister, Margaret Garzieri of Florida; daughter-in-law, Margaret of Matawan, New Jersey; four grandchildren, Kristen Ford of Tobyhanna, Keith James of Tobyhanna, Meredith Kobstad and Christopher Cuiffo of Matawan, New Jersey; one great grandchild, Alicia Ford of Tobyhanna; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary J. Cuiffo, and six siblings. The Reverend Dr. Ruth Ziedonis will conduct a memorial service at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 30 at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of routes 940 & 390 in Paradise Valley. There will be a visitation from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Following the service, burial of ashes will take place at Keokee Chapel Cemetery in Paradise Valley.
