Obituary of Elisabeth Campanelli

Elisabeth Anne Campanelli, 16, of Tannersville, died Thursday, April 28, at home after a courageous battle with cancer for over 2 years. Born in New Brunswick, NJ, she was the daughter of Christopher and Debra (Cunnane) Campanelli. Elisabeth was a student at Pocono Mountain East, where she was a cheerleader. She played softball with the Tannersville Softball League and was a Girl Scout. Elisabeth loved all kinds of music and always had a smile that could light up a room even through the hardest of times. She was an inspiration to live. In addition to her parents, Elisabeth is survived by her sister: Chana Campanelli and her brother: Christopher Campanelli, Jr., both of Tannersville; her grandparents: Elisabeth Cunnane of Lancaster and Albert and Anne Campanelli of Tannersville; her maternal aunts & uncles: Kathy Cahill and her husband John of Lancaster, Timothy Cunnane of Lancaster and John Cunnane and his wife Sandra of Lancaster; her paternal aunts & uncles: Patricia Campanelli of Belvidere, NJ, Albert Campanelli and his wife Lisa of New Brunswick, NJ, Peggyanne Barsvich and her husband Dennis of Raway, NJ; her cousins: Katlin, Kelly, Travis, Candice, Allison, Matthew and Jamison.She was preceeded in death by her grandfather Donald P.Cunnane. There will be viewing on Sunday, May 1, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 8:30 pm at the Bolock Funeral Home, route 940 in Cresco. There will be an additional viewing on Monday, May 2 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Our Lady of Victory Church, Cherry Lane Road in Tannersville. Reverend Father Richard Czachor will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, May 2 at 11:00 am at the church. Interment will follow in Prospect Cemetery in East Stroudsburg.
