Obituary of Robert Bruun

Robert T. Bruun, 72, of Pocono Lake, passed away on Sunday, July 19 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital in Plains Township. Born in Bronx, New York, he was the son of the late Roy and Evelyn (Fox) Bruun. Before his retirement, Robert was a Financial Advisor for Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and a member of Christ the King Church in Blakeslee, where he served as a Eucharistic Minister. He is survived by two brothers, George Bruun of East Setauket, NY, James Bruun of Knoxville, TN; a sister, Patricia Celentano of Islip, NY; and several nieces and nephews. The Reverend Father Patrick McLaughlin will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 25 at Christ the King Church in Blakeslee. Private cremation will follow at the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory in Paradise Valley.
