Obituary of Mary E. Theony

Mary E. Theony, 58, of Henryville, died Friday, July 4 at the VNA Hospice House of Monroe County. She was the wife of Ernest Theony. Born in Olean, New York, she was the daughter of late Richard M. and Johanna (Brungers) Grey. A graduate of Ridgefield Park High School, Mary received her Bachelor of Arts degree from William Patterson University in Wayne, NJ. She was employed in sales at the Home Depot in Stroudsburg. Mary was a member of St. Luke's Catholic Church in Stroudsburg, and Our Lady of Victory Church in Tannersville. In addition to her husband, Ernest, she is survived by two sons, Captain Clifford M. Theony, USAF of San Antonio, TX, Gregory E. Theony and his wife, Lee Ann of Scranton; two daughters, Suzanne J. Theony of Henryville, Kathleen E. Williams and her husband, Brian of Henryville; three brothers, Richard Grey of Fredericksburg, VA, Christopher Grey of Houston, TX, Sean Grey of Fort Collins, CO; two sisters, Jennifer Gunderman of Newton, NJ, and Kelly Semin of Littleton, CO. The Reverend Father Richard Czachor will celebrate a Memorial Mass at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 11 at Our Lady of Victory Church in Tannersville. Cremation service was entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory in Paradise Valley.
