Obituary of Nathan Baker

Nathan R. Baker, Jr., 72, of Canadensis, died Friday, July 29 at Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg. He was the husband of Jeri (Allen) Baker. Born in Springfield, Massachusetts, he was the son of the late Nathan R. Baker, Sr. and Margaret (Noone) Baker. He was a retired clinical social worker in the mental health industry and a veteran of the United States Navy. In addition to his wife, Jeri, he is survived by a son, Richard Allen Baker and his wife, Candace of Hoboken, New Jersey; a daughter, Melissa Lee Baker of Lille, France; and two grandchildren, Yma and Quentin Badie of France. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 3 from 10 am to 1 pm at the Bolock Funeral Home, Inc., Routes 940 and 390, Paradise Valley. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers and in acknowledgement of Nathan's love of the arts, the family would like to support Company Move, Melissa's theater company, in support of their first production, scheduled for February 2006.
