Obituary of William Kevin Hagan

William Kevin Hagan, 67, of Pocono Summit, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 15 at Pocono Medical Center surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Audrey "June" Taylor. Born and raised in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of the late William H. and Viola (Frick) Hagan. Before his retirement, William was a truck driver and a member of Teamster's Union 553 and 282. He owned his home in the Poconos for 36 years, where he lived full time for the past 30 years. William served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1958 to 1964. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Fraternal Order of Eagles, and the V.F.W. In addition to his wife June, he is survived by a son, William "Billy" J. Hagan and his wife, Cheryl of Pocono Pines; five grandchildren, Keri, Andrew, Emily, Zackery, and Olivia; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, James Hagan. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 19 at Our Lady of the Lake Church in Pocono Pines. Interment will follow at Laurelwood Cemetery in Stroudsburg. There will be a viewing on Wednesday, June 18 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of routes 940 & 390 in Paradise Valley, and on Thursday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
