Obituary of Dale Stewart

Dale K. Stewart, 67, of Jim Thorpe, died on Monday, March 10 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital in Plains. Born in Long Valley, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Amos A. Stewart, Jr. and Phyllis (Cook) Stewart. She lived and worked in Roxbury Township for most of her life and moved to the Poconos after her retirement. She is survived by two daughters, Donna Jennings of Long Pond and Amy Stewart of Jim Thorpe; a brother, Michael Stewart of Chester, NJ; two sisters, Judith Waldron of Succasunna, NJ and Diane Kennedy of Tannersville; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Janice Harris and a brother, Paul Stewart. Pastor David Holwick will conduct a Memorial Service at the First Baptist Church of Ledgewood, 233 Main Street, Ledgewood, NJ on Saturday, March 15, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. Family and friends may gather from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service.
