Obituary of Kenneth Leffingwell

Kenneth B. Leffingwell, 73, of Canadensis, died unexpectedly on Saturday, June 14 at home. He was the husband of Noreen (Werth) Leffingwell, to whom he was married for 34 years. They were to celebrate their 35th wedding anniversary today, June 15th. Born in Newark, New Jersey, he was the son of the late George and Yetta (Baranovitch) Leffingwell. He graduated from Central High School in Newark, N.J. Kenneth served in the U.S. Nary from June of 1957 to June 1959 and the U.S. Army Reserves from 1978 to 1979. Kenneth was employed as a stock clerk at Lewis' Supermarket in Mountainhome. Prior to his job as Lewis', he worked at local resorts in the Poconos. Before moving from New Jersey to the Poconos in 1978, Kenneth was a computer operator for Mutual Benefit Life Ins. Co. in Newark, New Jersey for over twenty years. He was of the protestant faith. He is survived by his wife, Noreen Leffingwell. Kenneth was preceded in death by one sister, Carol Leffingwell. Cremation is entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory, corner of Routes 940 & 390 in Paradise Valley.
