Obituary of Agnes Mahon

Agnes K. Mahon, 82, of Canadensis, died Monday, June 16 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honsdale. She was the wife of Joseph E. Mahon, Sr. Born in Newark, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Clair (Peterson) Borst. She was of the catholic faith. In addition to her husband Joseph, Agnes is survived by two sons: Joseph E. Mahon, Jr. of Greentown and John W. Mahon of Canadensis; two brothers: Joseph Borst of North Arlington, NJ and Walter Borst of Los Angles, Ca; two sisters: Teresa Mikulik of Allentown and Joan Arden of Jacksonville, Fl; two grandchildren: John & Sean Mahon. She was preceded in death by her son Gary J. Mahon. There will be a viewing on Sunday, June 22 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of routes 940 & 390, Paradise Valley. The Reverend Father David W. Cramer will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, June 23 at 10:00 am at the Church of St. Bernadette in Canadensis. Interment will follow in St. Theresa Cemetery in Summit, NJ.
