Obituary of Fannie Ervin
Fannie M. Ervin, 95, of Canadensis, died Sunday morning, August 17 at Brookmont Healthcare Center in Effort. She was the wife of the late Ralph Ervin.
Born in Bangor, she was the daughter of the late John and Pearl (Moyer) Wagner. Prior to retiring, Fannie was employed as a seamstress.
Fannie is survived by one daughter: Darlene Sorick of Williamstown, MA; one daughter-in-law, Lillian Repsher of Cresco; five grandchildren: Stephen Repsher of Lanham, MD, Karen Kotz of Savannah, GA, Michelle Brown of Cresco, Gretchen Shanley of Williamstown, MA, and Christopher Sorick of Newfoundland; eight great-grandchildren: David, Alex and Zachary Brown, Emma and John Kotz, Greta, Bayley, and Mikey Shanley; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son Karl Repsher; four brothers and two sisters.
There will be a viewing on Wednesday, August 20 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of routes 940 and 390 in Paradise Valley. The Reverend Barry Becker will conduct a funeral service at 12:00 pm at the funeral home. Cremation will follow at the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
