Obituary of Noreen Ryan

Noreen Ryan, 97, of Tobyhanna, died Thursday, July 6 at home. She was the wife of the late Martin A. Ryan, who passed away in 2003. Born in County Mayo Ireland, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Mary (Conlon) McNicholas. She was a member of Saint Ann's Church in Tobyhanna. She is survived by three daughters, Mary O'Donnel of Rockland Co., NY, Barbara Connelly and Madeline Ryan, both of Tobyhanna; six grandchildren, Jerry and Donald Novotny, Donna Duplechin, Laurie Gambetti, Tara Donohue, and Christine Connelly; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by five brothers, four sisters, and one great-grandson. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 10 at Saint Ann's Church in Tobyhanna. Interment will follow at Saint Raymond's Cemetery in Bronx, New York. There will be a viewing from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 9 at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of routes 940 & 390 in Paradise Valley.
