Obituary of Dolores Fitzgerald

Dolores M. (Mattiello) Fitzgerald, 74, of Ridgewood, NY died Sunday night, December 2, at the home of her daughter Jacalyn in Tobyhanna. She was the wife of the late Fred W. Fitzgerald. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Concetta (Alfano) Mattiello. Dolores was of the Catholic Faith. She is survived by two daughters: Maria Burke and her husband Kevin of Ridgewood, Queens, NY and Jacalyn Schenk and her husband Edward of Tobyhanna, Pa, six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and her dog Snowball. There will be a viewing on Tuesday, December 4 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of routes 940 & 390, Paradise Valley, Pa. The Reverend Father Richard Ghezzi will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, December 5 at 9:30 a.m. at the St. Ann's Catholic Church in Tobyhanna, Pa. Interment will follow at Long Island National Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY.
