Obituary of Rosa DeLeon

Rosa E. DeLeon, 50, of Tobyhanna, died Tuesday March 27, 2007 at the Allied Skilled Nursing Home in Scranton. She was the wife of Fernando DeLeon. Born in the Dominican Republic, she was the daughter of Elena (Mercedes) Guzman of the Dominican Republic and the late Juan Guzman. Rosa was a member of the First Spanish Church in Reeders. In addition to her mother and husband, she is survived by one son; Fernando, and one daughter, Elaine of both of Tobyhanna; five brothers, Jacinto Guzman, Enrique Guzman, Arturo Guzman, Juan Guzman all of the Dominican Republic and Rafael Guzman of NY; four sisters, Carmen Mercedes, Milagros Mercedes, Lidia Guzman, and Altagracia Guzman all of the Dominican Republic. The Reverend Alberto Aleman will conduct a funeral service on Thursday, March 29 at 7:30 p.m. at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of Routes 940 & 390, Paradise Valley. There will be a viewing from 6:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 30 at Laurelwood Cemetery in Strousburg.
