Obituary of Joseph Ambrogio

Joseph L. Ambrogio, Sr., 67, of Tobyhanna, died Thursday, December 13 at Bayonet Point Regional Medical Center in Hudson, Florida. He was the husband of Geri (McGlynn) Ambrogio. Born in Greenwich, Connecticut, he was the son of the late Fortunato and Mary (Marzullo) Ambrogio. Joseph was a gardener foreman for over thirty years for the town of Greenwich Board of Education, as well as owning his own landscaping business. He was a member of St. Ann's Church in Tobyhanna. In addition to his wife, Geri, he is survived by three sons, Joseph Ambrogio, Jr. of Blakely, Kevin Ambrogio and his wife Lauren, of Tobyhanna, Thomas Ambrogio and his wife, Toni of Stanford, Connecticut; a daughter, Lisa Ambrogio of Tobyhanna; eight grandchildren, Carissa, Joseph III, John, Jennifer, Thomas, Jr., Christopher, Steven, and Michael; and three very special nieces, Sandy, Cindy, and Kate McGlynn. There will be a viewing on Monday, December 17 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of routes 940 and 390, Paradise Valley. The Reverend Father Albert Bellantonio will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, December 18 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Ann's Church in Tobyhanna. Cremation will follow at the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
