Obituary of Ann Farrell

Ann C. Farrell, 84, of Buck Hill Falls, died Tuesday, April 17 at the VNA Hospice House of Monroe County in Smithfield Twp. She was the wife of the late George W. Farrell, who died in 2002. Born in Flushing, NY she was the daughter of the late John and Elsie (Bailey) O'Conner. Prior to retiring, Ann worked as an administrative assistant for North American Phillips Electronics Company. After moving to the Poconos, Ann joined St. Bernadette's Church in Canadensis and volunteered at the Barrett Friendly Library. She is survived by one son: Thomas Farrell of Kennebunkport, ME; two daughters: Margaret (Peg) Schmid of Weston, CT and Barbara Mateides of Pointe Vedra, FL; and two grandchildren. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:45 A.M. on Thursday April, 19 at St. Andrew Avellino Church, Northern Boulevard & 158th St. in Flushing, NY. Private interment will follow at Mount Saint Mary's Cemetery in Flushing, NY
