Obituary of Louise Comparato

Louise Comparato, 89, formerly of Foxfire Condominiums in Mt. Pocono, died on Friday, April 25 at Brookmont Healthcare Facility in Effort. Born in New York, NY, she was the daughter of the late Nicola and Marie (Meastracchio) Botta. Before her retirement, Louise was employed as a token clerk for the NY City Department of Transportation. She then worked as a seamstress for Moritz Embroidery in Pocono Summit and served on the Executive Board of the Foxfire Condominium Association. She is survived by a son, Richard Comparato and her dear friends, Diana and Jim Fialkowski, and their son, Joseph of Saylorsburg. Deacon David Bechtel will conduct a Blessing Service at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 30 at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of routes 940 & 390 in Paradise Valley. There will be a visitation from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow at Laurelwood Cemetery in Stroudsburg. Cremation was entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
