Obituary of Elsie Radu

Elsie "Bonnie" Radu, 73, of Mt. Pocono, formerly of East Stroudsburg, died Monday morning at home. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Cecelia F. (Whalley) Radu. Elsie was a member of St. Mary of the Mount Church in Mt. Pocono. She loved to spend time with her family and going to casinos. She was an avid fan of the New York Yankees. Elsie is survived by her daughter Mary Mancini and her husband Joseph of Mt. Pocono; two grandchildren: Paul Mancini of Pocono Pines and Joseph Mancini of Tannersville; and one great grandson: Matteo Mancini of Tannersville. The Reverend Father Joseph Kopacz will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, April 10 at 10:00 am at St. Mary of the Mount Church, Fairview Ave. Mt. Pocono. There will be a visitation from 9:30 am until the time of the Mass at the church. Cremation was entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
