Obituary of Sheldon Kelson

Sheldon "Buck" Kelson, Jr., 67, of Cresco, died Sunday, January 13 at the VNA Hospice House of Monroe County in East Stroudsburg. He was the husband of Terrie (Clements) Kelson. Born in Rockaway, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Sheldon and Bette (Johnson) Kelson, Sr. Sheldon was employed as an oil burner mechanic in New Jersey. After moving to the Poconos 18 years ago, he worked at Skytop Lodge in golf course maintenance. He was an avid NASCAR fan. He is survived by three sons, Douglas Kelson of Denville, NJ, Steve Kelson of Flanders, NJ, and Michael Kelson of Parsippany, NJ; and nine grandchildren. A Memorial Service will take place at 12:00 noon on Monday, January 20 at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of Routes 940 & 390 in Paradise Valley. Family and friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Cremation was entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
