Obituary of Dorothy Corica

Dorothy Corica, 87, of Sussex, NJ and formerly of Pocono Summit, died Monday, April 7 at St. Clare's Hospital in Sussex, NJ. She was the wife of the late John Corica, who passed away in 2000. Born in Weehawken, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Amelia (Gensheimer) Griffin. She graduated from Eagan School of Business in New York City. She was employed as an Administrative Assistant for the West Caldwell Board of Health before she retired. She was a resident of the Poconos for 20 years, before moving to Sussex, NJ three years ago to be closer to her family. While living in the Poconos, Dorothy and her husband volunteered for many organizations, including the American Red Cross in Tobyhanna. Dorothy was a member of the Coolbaugh Fire Company Auxillary and co-founder and Vice-President of the Mt. Pocono Chapter #4288 AARP. She is survived by three sons, George Will of Cochranton, James Will of Glendale Heights, IL, Richard Will of Delaware, OH; a daughter, Emily Wolff of Wantage, NJ; eight grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. The Reverend Father Joseph Kopacz will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, April 11 at St. Mary of the Mount Church, Fairview Avenue, Mt. Pocono. Burial will follow at Keokee Chapel Cemetery in Paradise Valley. There will be a viewing on Thursday, April 10 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of Routes 940 & 390 in Paradise Valley.
