Obituary of Ronald F. Mayer

Ronald F. Mayer, 64, of Tobyhanna, died unexpectedly on Tuesday morning, April 8 at Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg. He was the husband of Luella (Denton) Mayer. Born in New York, NY, he was the son of Sarah Brown of Bronx, New York. Ronald was a retired teacher. He actively worked the polls during election times. In addition to his wife, Luella, and mother, Sarah, he is survived by two sisters, Joyce Perry of Harlem and Denise Gregory of Bronx; and a niece, JoAnna Schlesser of Brooklyn. There will be a viewing on Monday, April 14 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Bolock Funeral Home, Routes 940 & 390 in Paradise Valley. Cremation was entrusted to the Block Funeral Home Crematory.
