Obituary of Michael Solomowitz

Michael P. Solomowitz, 61, of Cresco died Wednesday, January 11, at the Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg. He is survived by his life partner Rita Black. Born in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Sidney A. and Pauline Friedman Solomowitz. He was a retired teacher employed by the New York City School Systems. He is also survived by a daughter Anna Solomowitz of New York City, 2 step-daughters, Jennifer Cordero of Iowa and Michelle Regula of Hazelton, and 2 grandsons. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home, Inc.corner of Routes 940 & 390 Paradise Valley. Memorial contributions may be made in Michael's name to the American Cancer Society, 1101 Hill St. Jessup, Pa 18434.
