Obituary of James Clark
James "Hodge" P. Clark, 38, of Bartonsville, died Tuesday, November 18 at home. He was the husband of Jennifer (Bush) Clark.
Born in East Stroudsburg, he was the son of Furn (Klinger) Clark of Cresco and the late Carey R. Clark. He attended Pocono Mountain High School.
Jim was a welder for American Scaffolding and an installer for Woodland Carpets. He also worked for C.W. Price Landscaping. Jim loved to draw and work with wood. An avid hunter and fisherman, he especially loved attending NASCAR races with his long time friends. He was a member of the American Legion Post #922 in Canadensis.
In addition to his wife, Jennifer, he is survived by a son, Cole James Clark of Bartonsville; three brothers, Carey Clark, Jr. of Tannersville, Roy Clark and Jeff Clark, both of Cresco; two sisters, Carol Meinweiser and Mary Clark, also of Cresco; father and mother in law, Loring W. and Marion Bush of Canadensis; Grandmother in law, Jean Bush of Bethlehem; brothers in law, Loring T. Bush and Christopher Bush, both of Canadensis; sisters in law Lorie Bush of Florida and Erica Bush of Canadensis; and several nieces and nephews.
The Reverend Barbara Housley will conduct a Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 22 at the Mountainhome United Methodist Church in Mountainhome. There will be a visitation at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. Cremation service was entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory, corner of routes 940 & 390 in Paradise Valley.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Cole Clark for his educational fund c/o Jennifer Clark.
