Obituary of Rolf Hussong

Rolf D. Hussong, 59, of Swiftwater, died Saturday, September 20, 2008 at Geisinger Danville Medical Center in Mahoning Township. He was the husband of Elizabeth (Knott) Hussong. Born in Bielefeld, Germany, he was the son of the late Karl and Annaliese (Imme) Hussong. He graduated from Brooklyn Automotive School in Brooklyn, NY. Before his illness, Rolf was a toll collector for the New Jersey Turnpike Authority. In addition to his wife, Elizabeth, he is survived by a son, Richard Hussong of Gatlinburg, TN; three daughters, Sharon Mascato and her husband Anthony of Aberdene, NJ, Jeannine Angarita and her husband Henry of Swiftwater, Michelle Juliano and her husband Chris of Neptune, NJ; four brothers, Karl Keinz Hussong of Germany, Uwe Hussong and William Hussong of Brooklyn, NY, and Karl Hussong of Mastic, NY; one sister, Suzanna Bauman of Harriman, NY; eight grandchildren, Ryan, Emily, Joey, Grace, Anthony, Lilly, Megan, and Matthew; and many nieces and nephews. There will be a viewing on Tuesday, September 23 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of Routes 940 & 390 in Paradise Valley. The Reverend Peter A. Richert will conduct a funeral service at 8:30 p.m. Cremation is entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
