Obituary of William Sorick

William Sorick, a long time resident of Canadensis and prominent member of the local business community, passed away unexpectedly Saturday June 27 at Pocono Medical Center. Born in Port Griffith on August 20, 1941, he was the son of the late John and Anna (Secula) Sorick. He will be dearly missed by his three remaining siblings; John, Anita and Eleanor. There will be a viewing on Monday, June 29 from 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of Routes 940 and 390, Paradise Valley. The Reverend Father David Cramer will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 am at St. Bernadette's Church on Route 390 in Canadensis. Interment will be private at St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Exeter.
