Obituary of Leroy Heckman

Leroy Heckman, 72, of Cresco, passed away on January 2, 2010 at home. He was the husband of Dolores (McFadden). Born in Winton, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Russell and Lillian (Stark) Heckman. He was self-employed and owner of Leroy Heckman Paper and Paint. Leroy was a veteran of the United States Air Force. In addition to his wife, Dolores, he is survived by two daughters, Lori DiMartino and her husband, David of Tobyhanna and Chris Powell of Greentown; a sister, Joyce Gilgallon of Archbald; eight grandchildren, Randi Marie, Kristin, Cody, Sydney, Madison, Andrew, Brandon, and Savannah; and two great grandchildren, Shawn and Nathan. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Annabella. The Reverend George Alt will conduct a Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of Routes 940 & 390 in Paradise Valley. There will be a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Private cremation was entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
