Obituary of Mary Jane Guida

Mary Jane Guida, 83, died on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg. She was married to her loving husband George for 60 years. Born in Port Huron, MI she was the daughter of the late Parren and Mary Elizabeth (Kiel) Lehman. Mary Jane was a member of St. Mary of the Mount Catholic Church and was a past member of St. Joan of Arc Altar and Rosary Society. She enjoyed to crochet and began a crochet club named the "Happy Hooker's" at Pleasant Valley Manor where she had resided. Mary Jane had also sold Avon for ten years prior to her retirement. In addition to her husband George, she is also survived by her three children: George Guida and his wife Beth of Honesdale, Mary Elizabeth Santoro and her husband Ken of Reeders; Robert Guida of Pocono Summit; three brothers: Jack Lehman of Lacey, WA; Parren Lehman Jr. of Bay City, MI, Marlin Lehman of Bradentown, FL; sister: Betty Lou McNiece of Port Huron, MI; four grandchildren: Peter Guida and his wife Crystal, Kim, Becca, and Katie Santoro; and two great-grandchildren; Dylan and Jackson Guida. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Cremation was entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc.
