Obituary of Joseph Patrone Jr.

Joseph A. Patrone Jr., 64, of Pocono Summit, died Tuesday, November 24, 2009 at Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg. He was the husband of Deborah (Jurena) Patrone. Born in Belle Rose, Louisiana, he was the son of the late Joseph A. and Theresa (Cicconi) Patrone. He served in the United States Army during Vietnam and was an active member of the V.F.W. in Tobyhanna. Before his retirement, Joseph worked as a printer for the Merrill Corp. His greatest satisfaction in life was his grandchildren. In addition to his wife, Deborah, he survived by a son, Joseph Patrone of Tobyhanna; four daughters, Jennifer Sapienza and her husband Joseph of Henryville; Marianne Farrington and her husband Fredrick of Sanford, Fl; Dawn Marie Patrone of Tobyhanna; Donna Lynn Cavaleri of Long Island; two brothers, Michael Patrone of Tobyhanna; Thomas Patrone of Staten Island; two sisters, Clarice Pelliccia-Grimes of Staten Island; Enis Marie Logan of Citrus Springs, Fl; and five grandchildren, Joseph, Nicholas, Alec Sapienza, William Patrone and Vincent Cavaleri. There will be a viewing on Sunday, November 29, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, with a Blessing Service at 5:00 pm, at Bolock Funeral Home, corner of routes 940 and 390, Paradise Valley. Interment with military honors will take place on Tuesday, December 1 at 11:30 am at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
