Obituary of Benjamin Perez

Benjamin Perez, 76, of Long Pond, died Monday, July 4 at Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg. He was the husband of the Epifania (Rodrigues) Perez. Born in Santurce, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Lorenzo and Rosalia (Alicea) Perez. Before retiring, Benjamin was a corrections officer for Essex County, NJ. He was of the catholic faith. In addition to his wife Epifania, Benjamin is survived by his children: Martha, Shirley, Rosemary, Martin, Lorenzo, Anna and Raquel; his siblings: Hilda, Lorenzo and Palmira; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and his nephew Vincent and niece Lorraine; his great nephews: Michael and Joshua. He was preceded in death by a son: Benjamin. Reverend Father Joseph Kopacz will conduct a blessing service on Friday, July 8 at 6:00 pm at the Bolock Funeral Home, route 940 in Cresco. There will be a visitation from 5:00 pm until the time of service at the funeral home on Friday. Private cremation was entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
