Obituary of Jason Hanford

Jason C. Hanford, 32, of Pocono Lake, died Thursday, November 12 at home. He was the son of John and Judith (Edwards) Berg. Born in Secaucus, New Jersey, he attended Pocono Mountain School District and was a self-employed landscaper. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Blakeslee. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Lee Hanford and his fiance Erin Doncses of Easton; three sisters, Lindsey Berg of Blakeslee, Lauren and Jessica Berg of Pocono Lake; two step-sisters, Lori Hanford and Denise Hanford of North Bergen, NJ; and many aunts, uncles and cousins, including Shannon, Glen, Alex, J.C., Jayden, and Gabriel Bravo. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Hanford. There will be a viewing on Sunday, November 15 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of Routes 940 & 390 in Paradise Valley. The Reverend Doug Holtz will conduct a funeral service on Monday, November 16 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral Home. Private cremation will follow the service at the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
